    beautiful place, we spent the day doing the north and south rim. taking in the beauty of the area. seen wildlife along the way. drove on part of route 66 to get there. lots of places to stop along the way to have a picnic or take photos. bathrooms are clean along the way. there are shuttles if you dont want to drive. after we left there we found a scenic hyway and drove around the bottom. if possible find the old highways/scenic hyways. views are great.
